Biographical Sketch: Dr Martin has been a medical director at Home and Hospice Care of Rhode Island since 1987. He now heads the palliative care consultation service at RI Hospital and Miriam Hospital. He is a clinical associate professor of medicine at the Brown Alpert School of Medicine where he has been teaching about hospice and end of life care for the past 20 years.He has served on the NHPCO Regulatory Committee for the past 3 years.
