Biographical Sketch: Since beginning her career as a nurse leader, Charlene Ross, MSN, RN, MBA, has successfully analyzed problems, developed and simplified procedures, and implemented innovative solutions to improve organizational operations for hospitals and hospice programs across the country. As a patient care and business operations expert, Charlene continues to put these skills to work for the hospice industry.
In her current role as a hospice consultant and a founding partner of R&C Healthcare Solutions and Hospice Fundamentals, Charlene serves the hospice and hospice support industry through a wide range of services, including regulatory and operational support, quality assessment, and performance improvement. As an educator, she works with clients to develop regulatory competence, a deeper understanding of QAPI and provides hospice compliance officer training.
Her previous experience includes various senior leadership roles at one of the country’s largest publicly traded hospice providers and numerous hospital-based leadership positions. She is an accomplished public speaker, who lectures for the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization, as well as other state organizations and associations across the country.
Charlene holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Incarnate Word College, a Master of Science degree in Nursing from University of Texas Health Science Center, and a Master of Business Administration degree from University of Incarnate Word.
