Biographical Sketch: I have practiced in the hospice and palliative care field in various capacities and settings for 23 years. I am currently responsible for leadership and management of hospice operations throughout Holy Redeemer Health System for its 3 certified hospice providers including: Holy Redeemer Hospice- PA; Holy Redeemer Hospice- NJ Shore; and Holy Redeemer Hospice, Runnemede, NJ. Current responsibilities include fiscal management, planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of the provision of hospice and palliative services, product lines, and programs, ensuring quality care and services throughout the region in the provision of care to 500+ patients and 6000 bereaved family members, ensuring fiscal and regulatory outcomes, ensuring continued growth and access to hospice services, and educating the community and professionals regarding hospice and related topics. In collaboration with Valerie Hartman, RN, CHPN, CMT, CR we developed a professionally integrated complementary therapy program the is now practiced in the 3 Holy Redeemer Hospice providers. I regularly speak at professional conferences and webinars, as well as at informal educational programs for facilities and the community on various hospice and palliative care topics of interest.
