Biographical Sketch: Sandra Huster is the Director of Volunteer Services for Covenant Hospice. She provides leadership for over 2700 volunteers, serving nearly 1300 patients in 13 branch locations. Sandra has worked in hospice volunteer management for 15 years. She is a frequent presenter at state and national hospice conferences and has been published numerous times in hospice and volunteer management journals. Covenant's volunteer program has received three awards of excellence from Florida Hospice and two volunteer awards from NHPCO. Sandra is the NCHPP volunteer/volunteer management section leader, 2011-2013. Covenant's Tuck-in Volunteer Program has received national attention and is being implemented in hospices nation-wide. Before joining Covenant Hospice, Sandra worked for Suncoast Hospice volunteer program.
