Biographical Sketch: Julie Prazich is a physician and an artist. She shares the healing qualities of both with patients, families, and staff of The Institute for Palliative Medicine at San Diego Hospice where she has been on the staff for 15 years. She also serves as Voluntary Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at University of California, San Diego. Dr. Prazich received her Medical Degree from the Medical College of Virginia where she also completed a residency in Internal Medicine. She is board certified by the ABIM and AAHPM. She acts as Artist-In-Residence at The Institute and has been honored with opportunities to show her Monoprints and Watercolors there as well as in several other venues in San Diego.
