Biographical Sketch: Kathy is community care liaison-veterans affairs, working closely with the Dayton VAMC, CBOC's, and Wright Patterson Air Force Base Medical Center, 88th Medical Group. Kathy is active in the Hospice Veteran Partnership, Ohio, since 2009, chairing the Professional Development Committee since 2009. Kathy has been on the planning committee for the first HVP conference, with OH and MI, September, 2010. Kathy has provided education to the hospice staff at Hospice of Dayton integrating the Military History Toolkit into the computerized documentation system. Kathy also works closely with the Dayton VAMC and WPAFB by coordinating Care Coordination Meeting monthly, discussing patients, transitioning care venues.
Kathy has 18 years hospice experience, with clinical experience as home care nurse, admissions nurse, on-call nurse. she also has 10 years experience in marketing, community outreach. Kathy has been certiified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse for 12 years, she has a MSN, Clinical Nurse Specialist, from University of Cincinnati.
