Biographical Sketch:
Jacqueline M. Lopez-Devine joined Hospice of Palm Beach County as Director of Patient Care in March 2006. Over her five years at Hospice of Pslm Beach County, Jackie was promoted to Vice President of Patient Services in March 2009 and in 2011, she was promoted as Chief Clinical Officer for Hospice of Palm Beach County. She is responsible for oversight of care in all Hospice of Palm Beach County patient care delivery areas. She is responsible for oversight of quality nursing care, fiscal and operational management of 7 Palliative Care Inpatient Units, county-wide Home Teams, Skilled Nursing Facility Teams and Assisted Living Facility Teams Jacqueline brings an extensive background in nursing administration, health policy, clinical informatics, quality improvement and clinical research to her position at Hospice of Palm Beach County. As Director of the Medical-Surgical Unit at Palms West Hospital she utilized various aspects clinical informatics to support the functions on her unit. She also worked as Director of Clinical Informatics at Bethesda Memorial Hospital in Boynton Beach, Florida and as Research Nurse Coordinator for the National Institutes of Neurological Diseases and Stroke at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland from January 1994 through September 2003. During her tenure at the NIH, Jacqueline worked toward her MSN and Health Policy Certificate at the University of Maryland, School of Nursing in Baltimore, Maryland. As part of her graduate school practicum experience, she worked two semesters at the Center for Healthcare Technology (part of the Agency for Healthcare Policy and Research [AHPR]) in Rockville, Maryland. In addition to her duties at Hospice of Palm Beach County Jacqueline is a member of the Multicultural Team of HCA East Florida Division and the Career Education Business Leadership Committee, School District of Palm Beach County. She also serves on the CNO Committee for Palm Healthcare Foundation and the American Heart Association. Jacqueline is a member of Sigma Theta Tau and a mentor for Aspira Palm Beach
