Biographical Sketch: Erin Davis is a Registered Nurse Coordinator with the University of Utah Cardiac Mechanical Support Program. Since graduating from Brigham Young University in 2004, she has focused her nursing career on the care of heart failure patients. Over the last 5 years she has been the primary Ventricular Assist Device Coordinator for the University of Utah Hospital and assisted in building the hospital's program from 8 implants a year to over 42 implants in 2010. She is an active member of the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation and International Consortium of Circulatory Assist Clinicians and has participated in multiple research projects relating to VAD patients across the country.
