Biographical Sketch: Perri Chinalai, StoryCorps Legacy Initiative Senior Coordinator, is responsible for oversight of activities and services for the initiative and for ensuring successful participation among hospice care, palliative care and disease-specific organizations.
Perri Chinalai came to StoryCorps with a background in the arts. She studied Photography and Art History at the Rhode Island School of Design and Media Studies at the New School University. Prior to StoryCorps, Perri was Program Coordinator for the Harvard University Asia Center. Perri has been a volunteer for five years - providing companionship to people in their homes, at Jacob Perlow Hospice Inpatient Unit at Beth Israel Medical Center and more recently at Methodist Hospital.
