Biographical Sketch: Over 24 years in the nursing profession with. Sixteen+ years experience with professional education and staff development for all members of the hospice interdisciplinary team and 20 years as a nurse/ manager/ director in the hospice, home health, and community health care realm, with a focus on education, quality, compliance, and operations.
Five years of experience as a Director of Education, Quality, & Compliance for a 5 location hospice in the DC/ Baltimore Metro area. Experience as the Director of Education for a 7 location home health/hospice in the DC/ Baltimore Metro area (4.5) years. Presenter at national and state conferences. Author of multiple hospice articles published in national trade magazines. I also serve as nurse reviewer for Home Health Nurse Journal.
