Biographical Sketch: Mary Lou Proch earned two education degrees, masters and doctorate, from the University of South Florida. Her two nursing degrees, BSN and MSN were earned from Duquesne University. She currently maintains the Certification in Hospice and Palliative Administrator. Dr. Proch has worked in healtcare for over 35 years in various clinical and leadership positions. Her clinical areas of expertise are in cardiac care, community health, and hospice.
She is currently the Director of Education for HPC Healthcare and responsible for the education for two hospices and three subsidaries. This includes orienation,competency development, staff development, leadership education, regulatory requriements and community education. Her education expertise is in curriculum development, advanced learning strategies and education outcomes. Dr. Proch is also an Instructor for Walden University's School of Nursing Graduate Nursing Program.
