Biographical Sketch: Brief Biographical information: Angela Waterbury is a registered nurse and a Certified Hospice & Palliative Care Nurse. She graduated with her Bachelorette in nursing from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. Currently she is the Nursing Services Manager at Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care. She has presented nationwide on Clinical Competency and Orientation for Hospice and Palliative Care staff.
Angela is in her second term with NHPCO as an Ethics Committee Member. She is an active member of the Emerging Infectious Disease Committee and a member of the Health and Medical Pandemic Readiness Task Force for El Paso County, Colorado. She is an active member of her local Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and an international volunteer with Project Hope; Health Opportunities for People Everywhere. She is a community advocate and highly requested speaker on topcies about end of life care.
