Biographical Sketch: Sharen has been working in human hospice as a social worker for over six years and is the founder of Synergy Animal Hospice. Sharen has developed bereavement and volunteer programs, including writing training manuals and creating classes for the volunteer component and hospice staff retreat weekends. Currently, Sharen is developing the interdisciplinary care program that will be utilized by Synergy Animal Hospice in Oregon.
