Biographical Sketch: Thom Dennis, MDiv, MAPC, LCPC is currently the Bereavement Services Coordinator at NorthShore Hospice in Skokie, Il. He has 19 years experience helping grieving families as a parish minister, hospital chaplain and counselor. At NorthShore hospice Thom provides individual counseling, facilitates grief support groups, supervises counseling student interns and manages Life Stories & Lessons, an innovative program designed to record the memoirs of hospice patients.
Thom has authored several articles on grief and presented at national conferences. Additionally, he maintains a counseling private practice in Chicago, Il.
