Biographical Sketch: Liz Silva has been working with hospices focusing in benchmarking and performance improvement for 9 years. She is Vice President of Hospice for Deyta LLC, a leading provider of customer satisfaction administration and quality improvement programs in hospice and home care. In 2001, she joined Perforum, a unique 360-degree benchmarking and networking program to help hospices manage their quality and operations strategically. Perforum became part of Outcome Concept Systems, Inc. (OCS) in 2005, and Liz managed the OCS Hospice PeerForum providing benchmarking and facilitated networking for three years. In 2008, Liz joined Deyta and began managing the development and product release of the QAPI Navigator then transition to her current position to oversee and integrate all of Deyta’s hospice products.
Liz began her career in healthcare as a clinician managing several rehab units and providing physical therapy services in nursing facilities.
She has presented educational webinars on a variety of topics including performance improvement, quality measurement, and data-driven strategic management. Liz holds a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Boston University and a BS in Biology from St. Lawrence University.
