2. Design a new approach and process to integrate evidence-based knowledge into the care continuum
3. Describe models to enhance implementation of palliative care knowledge into policy and practice
Is your pediatric palliative care program lacking clear structure for expansion? This session will provide strategies to implement and integrate the key components of the evidence-based End-of-Life Nursing Consortium-Pediatric Palliative Care education course into practice across multiple settings. Highlights include changing policies that no longer work, interdisciplinary team education and communication, and designing a pediatric palliative-care program that will meet the needs of the children and their families. This interactive workshop will challenge all members of the interdisciplinary team to identify gaps in knowledge, policy and care and to formulate a plan for remediation.
