Biographical Sketch: Krystal M. Alvarado, RN, BA
Krystal M. Alvarado is the Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer at VNA. VNA began in 1934 and is the oldest, most experienced hospice provider in North Texas.
Krystal has been involved in hospice care since 2000 and has been with VNA since 2011. She has worn several hats in her time with VNA, rising quickly to her current position. As Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer, Krystal implements and develops policies and procedures for all divisions of VNA; is responsible for multi-site management of VNA's Hospice Care, Private Care and Community Liaison Teams and provides leadership, direction and administration for nursing operations.
