Biographical Sketch: Jamie Andrews is the Clinical Supervisor for Providence Trinity Kids Care Hospice,an in home care program for infants, children, and adolescents with life limiting illnesses and their families all over Los Angeles and Orange County. Jamie's team offers Pain control and symptom management;24 hour 7day a week on-call nurse,social worker,and chaplain; Hospice/Palliative physician consultation;family counseling;Emotional and spiritual support;Help in obtaining medications,supplies,and equipment for the child; supportive services for siblings. Jamie's team works hand in hand with the child's primary care team involved with care to help coordinate services. Jamie has worked for TKC since 2007.
Jamie graduated from nursing school in 2001 and began to specialize in pediatric oncology. She has worked at all across the country from Oakland Childrens, CincinnatiChildrens, and Johns Hopkins. Jamie has also worked in Liver and Kidney transplant,PICU and NICU.
Jamie's vast clinical knowledge allows her to educate the team on various diagnosis that they may care for.
