Biographical Sketch: Clay Anderson, MD received his MD degree from Stanford University in 1991, completed internal medicine residency at Univ. of Colorado in 1994, and finished medical oncology training in 1997 at Univ. of Texas - M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. As a clinician-educator and assistant professor in Hematology/Oncology at Univ. of Missouri - Columbia until 2010, he was the founding medical director of the Missouri Palliative Care Program including an inpatient consultation service and an outpatient clinic. Additionally, he was a part-time hospice medical director at Hospice Compassus, Inc. in Columbia, MO until 2010. Now ABMS board-certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine, Dr. Anderson has served as Medical Director of NorthCare Hospice and Palliative Care in North Kansas City and a staff physician in palliative care at North Kansas City Hospital in North Kansas City, MO since 2010.
