Biographical Sketch: Carolyn Webber is Vice President of Human Resources for Haven Hospice, a regionally-based hospice and palliative care organization in North Central Florida. With more than 20 years in human resources, she has significant experience in insurance and healthcare, including corporate strategy as well as culture and change management initiatives. Carolyn also specializes in human resources alignment, talent management, employee relations, leadership coaching, and organization development. As a vice president for John Alden Financial Corporation, she helped develop leadership talent, launch new business ventures, expand geographical territories, and decentralize health care operations.
Prior to joining Haven, Carolyn was a senior human resources business partner for her own firm, which provided strategic planning, talent acquisition, and leadership development services to non-profit organizations in South Florida.
She also served as chief administrative officer for the Health Care District of Palm Beach County, where she led the organization's human resources, research and planning, public affairs, and legal initiatives.
Carolyn is originally from Kansas, and an alumna of Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas, where she earned her Bachelor’s of Arts and Master’s of Science degrees in Communications. She also completed the course requirements for a Doctorate in Adult Education at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
