Biographical Sketch: •Kathy Roble is the Director of Volunteer Services for Suncoast Hospice in Clearwater, Florida where she is responsible for the infrastructure, direction and management of the volunteer component numbering more than 3400 volunteers. She has been with Suncoast Hospice for over 17 years.
•Kathy is past section leader for NCHPP's Volunteer/Volunteer Manager Section and has chaired the Florida Hospice's Volunteer Conference. She is a prior member of the Education and Training committee of Florida Hospices and Palliative Care, Inc. She holds a Master of Science degree in Management with a focus in Health Services Management, and has presented at local, state and national hospice symposiums and American Society on Aging and American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging national conferences on topics such as leadership skills for volunteer managers, volunteer recruitment and retention, risk management, utilization of professional volunteers and volunteer program development.
