Biographical Sketch: Rebecca Van Vorst, MSPH, is an accomplished health services and research project manager with more than eighteen years of experience coordinating and administering multi-center research grants in primary care, end-of-life care, and infant development. Ms. Van Vorst earned a Master of Science in Public Health from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center School of Medicine and received an appointment for a public health traineeship in epidemiology sponsored by the Department of Health and Human Services. Ms. Van Vorst is currently a project manager at IPRO, the New York State Quality Improvement Organization, and recently managed the Hospice AIM Project, a CMS multi-site quality assessment and improvement special study, evaluating the use of quality measures in hospice and palliative care.
