Biographical Sketch: Anne Monroe is Physician Business Practice Manager for Hospice of the Bluegrass and Palliative Care Center of the Bluegrass. She has worked in physician practice management for 17 years. She completed her Master in Health Administration at the University of Kentucky, and is a member of Medical Group Management Association (MGMA). Ms. Monroe is a frequent speaker about palliative care at local and national conferences such as National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO) and Center to Advance Palliative Care (CAPC).
Ms. Monroe is responsible for program planning, budgeting, system and data analysis, regulatory compliance, and other physician practice management responsibilities for the HOB/PCCB practice of 13 physicians and 8 nurse practitioners. In addition, Ms. Monroe is the University of Kentucky Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship Coordinator.
