Biographical Sketch: Annette Kiser is the Director of Quality & Compliance with Carolinas Center for Hospice & End of Life Care, the state hospice association for North & South Carolina. She is a registered nurse with over 24 years of hospice experience having served in local hospices as a staff nurse, Director of Nursing Services, and Director of Organizational Integrity.
Annette is actively involved in many aspects of hospice and palliative care. She serves on the NHPCO Regulatory Committee and chairs the committee’s Education Workgroup. As a member of the NHPCO Education Committee, she serves on the Clinical Team Conference 2010 and Management & Leadership Conference 2011 Planning Subcommittees. Additionally, Annette is a member of the Palmetto GBA Intermediary Advisory Committee. She has presented educational programs at the state and national level on a variety of topics including documentation, Medicare Conditions of Participation, and other aspects of regulatory compliance.
