Biographical Sketch: Michael Morse is the Vice President of Organizational Advancement for the Haven Hospice Network with its home office in Gainesville, Florida. He joined Haven Hospice in August 2005, and is responsible for all Development and fundraising activities including Major Gifts, Planned Giving, Annual Appeals, Special Events, Honor/Memorial Gifts and the Haven Hospice Attic Resale Stores. Michael holds a Master of Science degree in Business from the University of Florida Warrington College of Business and Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunications, with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Florida.
Prior to Haven Hospice, Michael was Vice President of Resource Development for United Way of North Central Florida, which served Alachua, Gilchrist, Levy, Dixie, Union and Bradford counties in the North Central Florida area with its office in Gainesville, Florida. He previously served as the Customer Programs and Strategic Sales Leader for Honeywell Cabin Management, Systems and Services – a division of Honeywell Aerospace, with its main office in Sarasota, Florida. Responsibilities included strategic planning, customer program management, product marketing, product development, contract management, global sales management and training. Michael was an owner and served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Baker Electronics, Inc. prior to Baker’s acquisition by Honeywell Aerospace. Michael was instrumental in growing Baker from a small local business doing $3.0 Million in annual sales to a world-wide leader in private jet cabin electronics with annual sales approaching $30 Million. Michael began his career in 1990 in consumer products sales and marketing with Alberto-Culver Company and later with Lever Brothers, Inc.
