Biographical Sketch: For the past nine years, Jason Clamme has been the Director of Community Outreach for Lower Cape Fear Hospice & LifeCareCenter, overseeing the company’s education and outreach into five counties in Southeast North Carolina. Jason and his team speak to more than 2000 local people each year about hospice, advance care planning, patient advocacy, caregiving, and other end of life issues. He has also been active in increasing end of life awareness at the state and national level, presenting at conferences and workshops sponsored by the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO), the Carolinas Center for Hospice and Palliative Care, and others. Jason is a member of the NCHHP National Steering Committee for Development/PR/Marketing, the Carolinas Center’s LIVE NC statewide steering committee, and the board of directors for the North Carolina Association of Volunteer Administrators. He has completed Level II of the NHPCO Management Development Program, the Duke University Non-Profit Management Certification, and his local Leadership Wilmington Series.
