Biographical Sketch: Bio Beverly Douglas
Beverly Douglas ARNP ACHPN has been with HPC Healthcare and LifePath Hospice in Tampa, Florida, for the past 6 years. In her role as an ARNP, she provides medical staff coverage at the Sun City Center Hospice House, one of two inpatient acute care hospice facilities for LifePath Hospice. She manages the day to day medical needs of 16-24 acutely symptomatic hospice patients, in collaboration with an MD. She serves as a preceptor for ARNP students with the University of South Florida. She also serves on the Exam Development Committee for the National Board for Certification of Hospice and Pallitive Care Nurses at the APN level.
Prior to this position, Beverly held many nursing positions, having worked over 20 years in ICU, as a case manager, clinical instructor at a BSN nursing program, and hospice RN.
