Biographical Sketch: Regina Shannon Bodnar is a registered nurse with 32 years of clinical and leadership experience. Reggie graduated from the University of Rochester with a BSN in Nursing in 1978. She received a Masters degree in Anatomy from New York Medical College in 1984 and an MSN in Oncology Nursing from Yale University in 1986.
Reggie has worked in community and university oncology settings and transitioned to hospice care in 1993 as the Director of Clinical Services of Gilchrist Hospice Care. She has guided the hospice to become the largest provider of end of life care in the State of Maryland - a program that enjoys a reputation for the delivery of stellar care. Reggie is privileged to be the President of the Hospice and Palliative Care Network of Maryland at this time.
