Biographical Sketch: I am currently the CFO at Hospice of Central Iowa, a large freestanding non profit hospice. I have been with the organization since 2007. In this role, I oversee the Accounting, IT, Human Resources and Facility teams. Prior to joining Hospice of Central Iowa, I was the Financial and Reimbursement Unit Manager at Cahaba Government Administrators in Des Moines Iowa. In this position, my team was responsible for establishing rates, cap calculations, provider enrollment and cost report submission for hospices and home health agencies serviced by the intermediary.
I have completed numerous presentations to provider audiences thorughout my career on issues related to Medicare reimbursement and cost reports.
