Biographical Sketch: As President & CEO of Visiting Nurse & Hospice Care Lynda is responsible for planning, coordinating, managing and directing all activities and programs of Visiting Nurse & Hospice Care including fundraising efforts to support the organization’s charitable mission and the building of a new 18 bed inpatient unit. She establishes, implements and evaluates goals and objectives for the organization to meet and promote the stated mission and maintains the vision for delivery of high quality, compassionate care in the community. She is passionate about homecare and believes it will be instrumental in controlling health care costs in the future as baby boomers age and want to remain at home.
Her experience includes more than 30 years working in homecare including working as a consultant and JCAHO surveyor with organizations across the United States. She graduated from the University of Idaho with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and later earned a Masters degree in Nursing Administration. She has worked with for profit and not for profit agencies holding many diverse positions throughout her career including that of Chief Clinical Executive, Chief Operating Officer and CEO.
