Biographical Sketch: Worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs for 27 years, launching their hospice program at Bay Pines 16 years ago. Was the original person who identified the effects of the military culture and combat on dying veterans. Presented at multiple national conferences on the unique experience of veterans as they near the end of life. Author of the book, Peace at Last: Stories of Hope and Healing for Veterans and Their Families.
