Biographical Sketch: Susan McAlister is a Doctor of Nursing Practice with over 20 years of nursing, project management and quality experience. She holds a black belt in Six Sigma, certified in CPHQ and complementary medicine. Currently she is the Director of Enhanced Care and Hospice for a multi site program within the Indiana University Health system. Previously she has held positions as the VP of Quality Management at Lutheran Hospital and VP of Risk Management at American Specialty. Susan’s expertise in project management, outcomes, and palliative care and hospice has resulted in positive results in the Enhanced Care service program.
Susan is published in Nursing Economics and Society of Integrative Oncology. She is a national speaker and holds 2 board positions. She is currently conducting two IRB approved research protocols related to palliative care and hospice.
