Biographical Sketch: I graduated from Tulane University in 2002 with a BA in Anthropology and Sociology. After graduation, I worked for a dementia-care facility in Washington state. In 2007, I moved to Colorado and began working for HospiceCare of Boulder and Broomfield Counties. My department includes four Volunteer Coordinators and one Administrative Assistant. Our volunteer program includes over 440 volunteers.
I am a Certified Administrator of Volunteer Services (CAVS) through the American Hospital Association and am currently working on attaining the credential of Certified in Volunteer Administration (CVA) through the Council for Certification in Volunteer Administration.
In 2010, I joined the NCHPP Volunteer/Volunteer Manager Section Committee. As a committee member, I am personally responsible for managing the library resources for our section on myNHPCO. Also, I participate in Steering Committee meetings, participate and facilitate Section Chat Sessions and participate and respond to egroup inquiries on myNHPCO.
