Biographical Sketch: Sarah Katz leads strategy-consulting engagements for health care providers, focusing on emerging payment and care delivery models; cross-continuum relationship development; and the implications of economic and legislative trends for provider growth strategy.
Prior to joining Health Dimensions Group, Sarah worked in the strategic research division of the Advisory Board Company. As a consultant at the Advisory Board, she provided consulting services to hospital, health plan, pharmaceutical, medical device and long-term care industry executives. Her areas of expertise included emerging payment and care delivery models; hospital growth and revenue management strategy; impact of reform and economic trends on industry structure. In addition to leading best practice research studies, Sarah spearheaded the formation of the Advisory BoardÂ’s Post-Acute Care Collaborative, a consortium of post-acute providers with the shared goal of improving care coordination with acute care hospitals. In this role, she developed and executed against a research study agenda; delivered onsite and telephonic presentations; led executive team strategy development sessions and spoke at key industry conferences, including the Assisted Living Federation of America and the American Medical Rehabilitation Providers Association.
Sarah graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Economics from Columbia University and earned distinction on her senior thesis, which analyzed pricing activity in oil markets.
