Biographical Sketch: Dr. Radwany has been Medical Director of Hospice and Palliative Care Services at Summa Health System since 1999 helping to establish a hospice program, palliative care consult services and palliative care inpatient units there while serving as Program Director of its Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowship He also chairs the System Ethics Committee for Summa Health System and has done so since 1996 when it was re-organized and made to be more clinically directed. Dr. Radwany has been active at the Northeastern Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) where he is a Professor of Internal Medicine. He has presented at many meetings throughout the USA as well as in Cuba, Hungary, Peru, Vietnam and Argentina. He is a Fellow and Laureate of the American College of Physicians and a Fellow of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine, has a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Geriatric Medicine and has been board certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine since 1997. Dr. Radwany received his medical training at the University of Cincinnati and Northwestern University.
