Biographical Sketch: Annette Kiser is the Director of Quality & Compliance with The Carolinas Center for Hospice & End of Life Care, the state hospice organization for North & South Carolina. She is a registered nurse with over 25 years of hospice experience having served in local hospices as a staff nurse, Director of Nursing Services, and Director of Organizational Integrity.
Annette is actively involved in many aspects of hospice and palliative care. She serves on the NHPCO Regulatory Committee and chairs the committee’s Education Workgroup. As a member of the NHPCO Education Committee, she serves on the 2012 Management & Leadership Conference and 2012 Clinical Team Conference Planning Subcommittees. Additionally, Annette is a member of the Palmetto GBA Hospice Coalition. She has presented educational programs at the state and national level on a variety of topics including documentation, Medicare Conditions of Participation, and other aspects of regulatory compliance.
