Biographical Sketch: Amber B. Jones, M.Ed., is a spokesperson and advocate on behalf of patients and their loved ones and the providers who care for them. Since 2001, she has served as a consultant for the Center to Advance Palliative Care (CAPC). Private clients include hospices, hospitals, health systems and State Hospice and Palliative Care Associations.
Ms. Jones is the immediate past President of the Hospice and Palliative Care Association of New York State. She is a member of the National Hospice Work Group. She is a also member of the Board of Directors of the Visiting Nurse Association of New York Hospice Care Program and the Board of Directors of the Hospice and Palliative Care Association of New York State. Ms. Jones has worked as a clinician, a hospital department director, a program manager at the national association for medical education and as the vice president of an academic medical center.
