Biographical Sketch: Received BA in Chemistry and Pharm D degrees from University of Tennessee.Completed post doctoral Pharmacy Practice Residency at Methodist Hospitals of Memphis and Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) from American College of Clinical Pharmacy.
Professional experience includes several facility and clinical specialist positions at acute care medical centers throughout Florida. Responsibilities included oversight for pharmacy services for a not for profit hospice serving 4 Counties in southwest Florida. Hospice Pharmacy services are provided to approximately 1200 patients per day in a variety of health care setting including home care, hospice house, LTC, ALF and hospital settings. Provision of consultant pharmacy services to 7 hospice houses in hospice service area. Areas of expertise and areas of interest include end of life pain and symptom management, infectious diseases and geriatrics.
