Biographical Sketch:
Ms. Martin, President and co-owner of The Corridor Group, Inc., is an internationally known leader in the development of innovative health care programs. Active in alternate-site health service planning, development and delivery of care since the mid 1980s, Jeannee has assisted in the development of networks, with mergers and acquisitions, and with integration strategies to position health care organizations for the future. She has extensive organizational, operational, financial and regulatory experience and knowledge in the alternate-site home care delivery industry, with a particular focus on home health and hospice. Jeannee has worked with investor firms providing information on the industry, managing due diligence processes, and helping buyers understand the benefits and risks of a particular acquisition opportunity. She also developed the premier national administrator certificate programs for home care and hospice providers, endorsed by state and national organizations. Her knowledge base makes her uniquely qualified to provide guidance on a range of home care topics and assist providers to become quality driven organizations. Jeannee is active in state and national organizations, is a board member on several health care organizations, including the National Hospice Foundation and the National Hospice Work Group. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Georgetown University, and Master of Science in Public Health from Yale University. She has received numerous awards at the local, state and national level including the Georgetown University Alumni Award and the California Lillian O’Brien Award. She has served on the Georgetown University Leadership in Nursing Think Tank, and the University of California School of Nursing Home Care Advisory Council. She is also an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Community Health Systems, University of California San Francisco School of Nursing. Jeannee writes and speaks nationally and internationally on issues affecting the delivery of home health, hospice and palliative care.
