Biographical Sketch: Bonnie Meyer earned an undergraduate degree from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI, a Masters of Divinity from the Southern Baptist Seminary in Louisville, and a Doctor of Ministry from Meadville Lombard Theological School in Chicago. She completed a 2 year Clinical Pastoral Education residency at Children's Hospital in Cincinnati.
Bonnie worked 12 years as a hospice chaplain and then in 2006 moved into her present position as Director of Spiritual Care for Hospice of the Bluegrass. She added the responsibilities of Director of Bereavement in 2010. Bonnie has presented at numerous local, state and national conferences over the past 10 years, including NHPCO and the Association of Professional Chaplains. She is currently on the Section Leader for the Spiritual Care Section of NHPCO.
