Biographical Sketch: Dr. Burkarth has been practicing hospice and palliative medicine since 2005 and is currently the Chief Medical Officer and Vice President of Medical Services at Treasure Coast Hospice.
She attended medical school at Temple University School of Medicine and trained in neurosurgery at Albany Medical College. She was a partner in a successful neurosurgery practice until she joined the staff at Treasure Coast Hospice in 2005, to dedicate her career to hospice and palliative medicine.
