Biographical Sketch: Stacy holds a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Management from University of Central Florida and a Bachelor’s in Music Therapy from Temple University. During her studies at UCF, she completed program evaluations and strategic plans for volunteer programs and other local nonprofit organizations. Stacy is a certified volunteer administrator in the state of Florida via the Points of Light foundation and has ten years of hospice/end of life care experience. Starting as a Board Certified Music Therapist, she has served as a volunteer coordinator, Senior Coordinator, and Director in the department. Stacy has also managed an Alzheimer’s unit and remains an active volunteer in her community serving on a Board of Directors.
Currently, as the Director of Volunteer Services at Tidewell, Stacy oversees eleven full time volunteer coordinators and the team’s administrative coordinator. The program has more than 1200 volunteers actively working each year, and for 4 continuous years under her leadership has demonstrated volunteer hour increases. Tidewell’s volunteer program consists of traditional roles as well as complementary service roles.
