Biographical Sketch: Mr. Maxwell is an Executive Coach and owner of Maxwell & Associates. His concern for the impact organizational change has on the leadership, management, and staff of organizations led him to bring a coaching model to executive and management consulting with the aim of providing close support to the client making the changes demanded by a challenging and often turbulent environment. He focuses on accelerating their growth as leaders.
Mr. Maxwell received an undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and a Masters in Health Administration from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. For twenty years, he served hospitals as a member of the hospital administration, including ten years as the Administrator/President. During this time he worked closely with Board members, physicians, other executives, and employees as organizational ownership and structures were transformed in response to a rapidly changing environment. In 1995, Mr. Maxwell formed Maxwell & Associates, an executive coaching and consulting firm. Since starting his coaching business he has served a wide variety of hospital and hospice groups including their boards, executives, middle managers, and physicians, as well as coaching executives and managers in several non-healthcare companies.
