This session on Caregiver Misconduct Investigations will review the requirements for a hospice agency to investigate allegations involving mistreatment, neglect, abuse, misappropriation and injuries of unknown origin. In addition, faculty will describe best practices for conducting and documenting an investigation of alleged caregiver misconduct or injury of unknown origin and reporting requirements.
