Biographical Sketch:
Jennifer Aitken, Director of Consulting for The Corridor Group has more than 15 years of experience in hospice and senior living communities. In her varied roles, she implemented, oversaw and evaluated agency-wide business development, intake, admissions and marketing activities, identified opportunities for business development, market depth and penetration through relationship building and collaboration, advertising, educational presentations and resolution of service concerns. She has also reorganized a sales force, created and delivered highly effective professional sales training, conducted competitive landscape review and analysis, developed strong marketing tools, developed metrics to monitor effectiveness of marketing and sales efforts, and rebranded an organization to include all new collateral. Additionally, she has overseen corporate integrity activities and overall agency risk management, maintained agency compliance with federal and state regulations, policies and procedures, licenses and accreditation, facilitated regulatory and accreditation encounters, analyzed agency success using satisfaction surveys, incident reports, chart reviews and regulatory reports, lead performance improvement project teams and co-lead feasibility, development and opening of a hospice inpatient unit. By actively listening and asking cogent questions, Jen helps clients identify their needs and offers customized solutions to meet those needs. She is client focused, providing exceptional customer service. As an experienced project manager, her expertise provides efficient and effective project oversight and management. Jen holds a Masters in Business Administration degree, Bachelor of Science in Sociology and certificates in Organizational Development and Nonprofit Management. She currently serves on the Board of The Virginia Association of Hospices and Palliative Care. She served on the Board of the Chicago End-of-Life Coalition, and was a Home and Community Based Services Cabinet Member for Life Services Network. She also served as a Professional Advisory Board Member for a private duty agency.
