Biographical Sketch: Jennifer Ballentine, MA, is Executive Director of Life Quality Institute. Formerly, she was Director of Programs for the Colorado Center for Hospice & Palliative Care and has participated in many collaborative projects with statewide agencies and national organizations around palliative care, system redesign, and advance care planning, including the workgroup convened to develop a palliative care guideline for the Health Facilities Division of the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. Jennifer specializes in adult and professional education, and has given numerous presentations for statewide and national conferences, including NHPCO. Jennifer holds a BA from Oberlin College and an MA in end-of-life studies from Regis University.
