Biographical Sketch:
William E. Finn has been CEO of Hospice of the Western Reserve in Cleveland, Ohio since February, 2011. Prior to this time, Mr. Finn was President and CEO of The Center for Hospice & Palliative Care (CHPC) in Buffalo, New York since 2002 and as the Executive Vice President and COO for 10 years prior. Mr. Finn has been in the field of hospice and palliative care for 29 years. Mr. Finn is Chair of the National Hospice Work Group, a think tank for national innovation leadership in hospice & palliative care. Mr. Finn serves as a regional director of LeadingAge Ohio, and the Hospice Alliance of Ohio and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Mr. Finn was chair of the Hospice and Palliative Care Association of New York State, and served on the Board of Trustees for twenty one years. He is a Leadership Buffalo graduate and has served on numerous boards including the Catholic Health System of Western New York, Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus, People, Inc., and Mid-Erie Mental Health Services. He has presented at the state and national levels on hospice and health care issues, is published in health care journals and has consulted across the country. Mr. Finn received his Master of Business Administration from the State University at Buffalo and his Bachelor of Science from the State University College at Fredonia.
