Biographical Sketch: Tomasina Chamberlain is the Senior Vice President, Accreditation at Community Health Accreditation Partner (CHAP) in Washington, DC. CHAP was the first accrediting body for community-based health care organizations in the United States and was created in 1965 as a joint venture between the American Public Health Association (APHA) and the National League for Nursing (NLN).
Tomasina joined CHAP in 2013. She holds a Masters degree in Psychiatric Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania and a Masters in Business Administration with a major in Marketing from LaSalle University, Philadelphia, PA. Under the auspices of the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association, she is a Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Administrator. Tomasina began her career providing home health and hospice services as an RN Case Manager. Over more than 30 years, she has both started and lead hospice and home health organizations. She is committed to the delivery of quality hospice services, helping hospice organizations deliver positive patient and family experiences.
