Biographical Sketch: Sandra Huster is the Director of Volunteer Services and Community Relations for Covenant Hospice. She provides leadership for nearly 2000 volunteers, serving nearly 900 patients in 14 branch locations. Sandra has worked in hospice volunteer management for over 19 years. She is a frequent presenter at state and national hospice conferences and has been published numerous times in hospice and volunteer management journals. Covenant's volunteer program has received three awards of excellence from Florida Hospice and two volunteer awards from NHPCO. Sandra is the NCHPP Volunteer/Volunteer Management Section Leader, 2014-2016 and is the Vice Chair of the NCHPP Executive Committee. Sandra received the Barbara Janosko Award of Excellence in Leadership from Florida Hospice and Palliaitve Care Association in 2011 and Covenant Hospice Leader of the Year in 2012.
