Biographical Sketch: Laura Mosby, LCSW, is currently the Director of Organizational Integrity for Empath Health. She is charged with participating in the development and maintenance of Organization-Wide QAPI Programs, championing process improvement efforts, and assisting in areas of regulatory compliance. Most recently, she has actively co-lead efforts for The Joint Commission Accreditation for the organization.
Laura received her Masters in Social Work from the University of South Florida and her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Indiana University. For the past 20 years Laura has been involved with Hospice and the End of Life Movement and is a certified Hospice Administrator. Her previous Hospice experience includes oversight of Community and ChildrenÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂs Programs, providing direction to Psychosocial and Bereavement Programs and serving as a Regional Clinical Director
Additionally, LauraÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂs previous experience as Adjunct Faculty with the Department of Gerontology and School of Social Work at the University of South Florida, and numerous Professional Presentations provides her with a deeper appreciation of the importance of sharing experiences and knowledge, as we all work together to continue to evolve the End of Life Movement.
